School buses in Leeds and Wakefield

CT Plus Yorkshire operate dedicated My Bus School services in Leeds and Wakefield under contract to Metro using a fleet of low floor 57 seat buses. All the vehicles are fitted with seatbelts and have a dedicated driver to ensure pupils are safe whilst using the services.

MyBusOur specially trained drivers are supplied with a list of all the pupils that are registered to travel on their bus so they know whom to expect at each stop along the route. On arrival at the school, the bus is either met by a teacher, or a walking bus scheme is in place to escort the children from the bus to the school.

In the afternoon, a teacher supervises the loading of the bus to ensure that all the children are safely delivered home.
